《三人三色》原是韩国全州电影节（Jeonju International Film Festival）的试验项目（Digital Short Films by Three Filmmakers 2004），每年资助三位导演拍摄三部30分钟左右的数码作品，内容上完全自由。本片是全州电影节2004的制作计划，总长100分钟的作品包括来自中、日、韩的三部短片，分别是余力为（Yu Lik-wai）的《夜迷宫》（Dance with Me to the End of Love）、石井聪（Ishii Sogo）的《镜心》（Mirrored Mind）以及奉俊昊（Bong Jun-ho）的《潮流自杀》（Influenza）。 《门口绑架狗》（Barking Dogs Never Bites）的导演奉俊昊贡献了《潮流自杀》（Influenza），28分钟的黑白影像都由布满韩国城市各角落的公共监控系统摄制，街道口、ATM、地下停车场甚至洗手间那些固定或规律性转动的摄像头捕捉和记录到它们视野范围内最荒唐的人群和行为。随着不同片断（不同监控设施所拍画面）递进式的暴力程度，短片开始呈现出固定角色甚至隐含了剧情：一对有着强烈自毁倾向的青年男女，他们无视观望自身的眼睛（人的和摄影机的），变本加厉地实施着暴力，毁灭别人最终自毁。 “Dance with me to the end of love”是加拿大著名诗人歌手莱昂纳德·柯恩(Leonard Cohen)的小说兼名曲，余力为用这首歌名作为他这部30分钟色彩浓烈且迷离的短片《夜迷宫》的英文名，并也在片中安排了一个诗人歌手的角色，扮演者是北京的民谣天才小河。短片除了些许深远而空旷的背景音和小河的一首歌外，对白均以默片字幕形式表达。为了表现这种未知的时间，镜头的处理同时把空间模糊化，隧道般昏黄幽长的地下栖息地、急促窒息的房间、天旋地转的舞池。在这个没有任何熟悉实景的空间里生活着喜欢拖着一长串易拉罐行走的房间钥匙保管员，似乎来自游牧部落的漂亮神秘女子，唱着疯言疯语的诗人歌手，阴险狡诈的男人，他们产生的故事是浪漫而温情的。 曾拍摄《爆裂都市》（Burst city）的石井聪在他40分钟的彩色短片《镜心》（Mirrored Mind）里，通过一个导演角色叙述了前女友的一段神秘心灵之旅。短片中的女主角像伯格曼最让人费解的作品《假面》（Persona）中的伊丽莎白一样，在一次拍摄中心灵突出意外，近乎失语。虽不至像伊丽莎白那样用缄口不语放弃演员身份，但也只剩啜泣，在导演男友的镜头面前始终无法再展开表演。她收拾行李，离开城市，在渴望心灵避难的海滩边遇到一神秘女孩，抑或是其“假面”？在这段模糊的心灵经历后，她恢复了正常。 片尾，恢复了神志的女演员重新开始接演电影，在自己花台上，她抚摸着花那沾满泥土的根须，这个场景似曾相识，就在她那奇妙心灵经历之时。这手是女演员的还是神秘女孩的？她最终摆脱分裂了吗？

The Jeonju International Film Festival initiated the Jeonju Digital Project as it predicted that digital films will blossom and be “a cursor for future films that gives us vision”. We have, until now, borne witness to directors from around the world that utilize the rapidly progressing digital technology in their own way to redouble their creativity. However, this was not based solely on the technological determinism that digital technology will change the future of cinema. The Jeonju International Film Festival has always believed that the future of cinema develops based on the passion of filmmakers who explore their own cinematic language at the forefront of filmmaking. That faith led to efforts to communicate and connect with directors all over the world who endeavor to expand the aesthetics of cinema by using digital technology. The Jeonju Digital Project, which JIFF presents yearly, is a valuable program that was started to support filmmakers who have pondered on and explored the aesthetics of cinema and its future. JIFF has been concerned with the possibility of digital cinema ever since its inception and has introduced digital shorts by 36 directors to various film festivals around Korea and abroad through this project for the past 12 years to continue its efforts to communicate with audiences around the world. As a result, the Jeonju Digital Project has been screened at film festivals all over the world, such as Venice, Toronto, Locarno, Torino, Vancouver, Vienna, Hong Kong, Argentina and etc.. The 2006 Locarno International Film Festival held a special retrospective entitled Digital Asia, which included all editions of the Jeonju Digital Project, while Jeonju Digital Project 2007, entitled Memories(Pedro Costa, Harun Farocki, Eugène Green), made the outstanding accomplishment of winning the Special Jury Award in the competition section of the Locarno International Film Festival. Expectations by Mahamat-Saleh HAROUN of the Jeonju Digital Project 2008 received the Special Jury Award in the Muhr Asia-Africa short film section at the Dubai International Film Festival and once again made the presence and potential of the Jeonju Digital Project known to the world. Also, last year’s Jeonju Digital Project 2012 saw the participation of Jean-Marie Straub, Claire Denis, and José Luis Guerin, three European masters, and established itself as a key project of contemporary world cinema.
